You might be imagining a dimly lit barbershop sitting darkly above a deserted pie shop in London when you hear the word ‘Barber,’ but Lefty’s Barbershop couldn’t be further from these ideas, in the best way.

Local Haunt Comes to Light

- But behind the laughter and clinking glasses, spirits are not only poured at the bar but visit in another form frequently and some apparently never leave.

There are many ‘lost trades’ that YVMPS showcase, including woodturning, blacksmithing and of course, vintage machinery. Many of these old, but very loved machines, lay dormant unless specifically scheduled to be shown and come to life, although the yesteryear will definitely be showing off some ancient magic.

Support for veterans will, and always should, be a priority

It is well known that the emotional, physical and mental wellbeing of Australian veterans continues to be affected long after their military service. While support measures have been introduced since the early 2000s, significant gaps in care remain today.
